April Marshke, Founder

¨People don`t need more choice,

they need better ones.¨

April is a bike industry veteran and champion of active mobility and slow tourism. Her career started in bike retail while getting her MBA. She spent 13 years working with Specialized Bicycle Components in roles across North America and Europe. She was part of a team that launched the first E-Bike from Specialized in the United States in 2012 and has been an advocate ever since.

While her way of working is process driven, she believes in simplicity above all. Less, more relevant, higher quality product that derives directly from a consumer need.

She serves on the advisory board for PowerShelter as well as the European Network for Outdoor Sports. She is also a member of Cycling Industries Europe as well as its Women in Cycling Expert Group. Through these associations and companies, she has her finger on the pulse of movements in Brussels and actively shaping policy that drives the cycling and outdoor sports industries forward.

When she is not crusading for physical activity for all, she is outside participating in one of the many outdoor sports she loves - mountaineering, paragliding, climbing, bike-packing, kayaking, and of course cycling.
